The game graphics are extremely glitchy

See attached screenshot. The menus appear fine, but the game itself looks quite messed up; black rectangles obscure most of the background and some structures, and colored polygons jut out from the center of the screen in random directions. The problem occurs regardless of using windowed or fullscreen mode.

Using Ubuntu 12.04 LTS Alpha 1 with Nouveau on integrated NVIDIA graphics and the Unity 3D interface.

Try turning off compositing desktop.

Do you know the version of your Nouveau driver?

I switched to the Unity 2D desktop and I am still getting this issue there.

Running `dpkg -s xserver-xorg-video-nouveau | grep Version` returns:
Version: 1:0.0.16+git20111201+b5534a1-1

As for what my graphics hardware is, here is the output of `lspci | grep VGA`:

And just to be extra-sure: I also tried running the game in a GNOME Classic (No effects) session. Same result.

I just installed the game on my laptop, which uses Intel graphics, and I can't reproduce the problem there, so it is probably specific to my desktop's graphics setup.

Unfortunately, I won't be able to do any further testing on it until two weeks from now, since I'm leaving my desktop behind when going home for holiday break. I'll gladly do any further debug work that's requested of me when I return, however.
