ugraded 11.10 lost old folders

After ugrading all the mail folders are lost.
New folders were automatically generated with postfix ..._sbd (?!)
These folders are empty and unreachable.

he reported error was "Cannot get folder '/home/richard/.local/share/evolution/mail/local/.Drafts_sbd': not a maildir directory.".

Is there a way to fix that and recover all my folders/emails ?
