The driver is radeon. Before the installation Oneiric displayed something like Gallium <version_number>.

Thank you for your bug report, I undupped the logo bugs, let's deal with one issue by bug and use this one for the driver unknown

do you have glxinfo installed? it couldb be bug #865957

Installed mesa-utils and system info recognizes immediately Gallium.
Assume it was recognized in Oneiric testing phase because it was upgraded from Natty, Precise was a fresh install from usb.
I'll mark this one as dupe of 865957.
