Updating branch seems to last forever

Recent revisions pushed on some branches never appear on the branch summary page. The latter keeps on showing the message "Updating branch..." for days. Merge proposals with that branch also fail to update the diff on the page within some reasonable delay.

You can check the following example. The branch lp:~openerp-dev/openobject-addons/trunk-coverage-marketing-ron is currently at revision 5512. This is the latest revision I can retrieve by pulling the branch on my pc. However, the web interface (branch summary and merge proposal) is stuck at revision 5504 for several days.

Status changed to 'Confirmed' because the bug affects multiple users.

It's possible that this is linked to bug 808930. I don't have enough information to make it a duplicate yet, though.

We're seeing it all the time now "Updating diff... An updated diff will be available in a few minutes. Reload to see the changes." Sometimes a resubmission helps, but more often than not, it still does it. This is a shame because it was working really well up until recently.

Also a member of my team has now told me that Launchpad has stopped showing new git branches. I'll get more info on that before I file a bug if there isn't one already...
