Bug Description

I am running Ubuntu 6.06 with the latest updates

I was web surfing when the mouse dissepeared and nothing would respond.

I am using the version that comes with 6.06 with the following extensions:

GB Language Pack; Version 1.5.0.1
NL Language Pack; Version 1.5.0.1
Tab Mix Plus; Version 0.3.5.2
Adblock Plus; Version 0.7.2.4
Flashblock; Version 1.5.2
DownThemAll!!; Version 0.9.9.7
Video Downloader; Version 1.1.1

The problem occured with an Kenginston NS Elite Trackball

Thanks for your bug report. Unfortunatly it is not clear what the bug is here.

Does the mouse work at all? Does it come back after a reboot? If it comes back, can you reproduce this crash?

The mouse works.

the bug doesnt come back after a reboot. This wasa my first encounter with the bug. I alos do not know how to reproduce it

i realize this offers no help at all but at least we know the bug is there

Unfortunately there is nothing we can do without some steps to reproduce and a crash report. If you find a way to reproduce this bug, please reopen this bug!

Guus Can you please give us the exact version of firefox by pasting the output of "apt-cache policy firefox" without the ". Also can you please try for a while to see if you can reproduce this and take a screenshot of it and give us what you did to lead up to it, like what website were you viewing, was it a flash video or another type of video so on and so forth.

This morning Nautilus also crashed without reason. I clicked "Restart Application" and it worked. Shortly afterwards it would crash again for no reason. I was totally locked out just like yesterday.

I was deleting some files of my MP3 player.

I was using a normal mouse.
