Reliance netconnect device detected but not getting connected to the network. works on lower version of Ubuntu, not on 11.10

I have upgraded From ubuntu 11.04 to Ubuntu 11.10. The Reliance datacard is detected but is not connected to the network. It was working fine on all the lower version of Ubuntu like 10.10 and 11.04.
