Bug Description

This message popped up about 1/4 way through the upgrade process:

Could not install '/var/cache/apt/archives/samba_2%3a3.5.11~dfsg-1ubuntu2.1_amd64.deb'
The upgrade will continue but the '/var/cache/apt/archives/samba_2%3a3.5.11~dfsg-1ubuntu2.1_amd64.deb' package may not be in a working state. Please consider submitting a bug report about it.

subprocess new post-removal script returned error exit status 2

My system was running Kubuntu 11.04 (64-bit) with KDE 4.7.2 packages installed.
