Bug Description

Hi, im not sure if this is really bug. I have two windows with the class "Desktop", nautilus and conky. I use the "wallpaper" plugin.

When I change the cube transparency, for example by initiating workspace switching, the window that is currently at the top stays visible, but the other one is "moved" behind the wallpaper provided by the wallpaper plugin. This means that when I switch to a workspace one of them will disappear and reappear when the animation is completed. I patched nautilus to allow a transparent background, otherwise this combination of plugins/applications won't be possible but this I think the correct behaviour should be to keep all windows with the Desktop class on top of the wallpaper and not only one. Here are some images that illustrate the problem:

My Compiz version is 0.9.2.4 and im using ubuntu 11.04

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to look at all reported bugs in a timely manner. There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. Compiz, in particular, is in heavy development and this bug may have been fixed in the newest version of Ubuntu (12.04). If you are able, it would be of great help if you could confirm if the bug still exists.

Thank you for your help and patience.
