Unfortunately, you only attached a small fragment of each of the log files I need.
Could you please attach /var/log/syslog and /var/log/partman to this bug, following the directions in http://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingUbiquity/AttachingLogs? Thanks in advance.

I have also recieved this error numerous times durring an attempt to install nubuntu. Here is my syslog:

Based on other similar reports, I believe that this is essentially a nUbuntu bug. They don't preinstall the console-setup package on the live CD, which Ubiquity needs. Please report this to them if they don't have a more recent version available.
