Bug Description
When the Upgrade offer to Ubuntu 11.10. came, I paused the Upgrade to do it later. It wasn't possible to resume the Upgrade and every new try is blocked with the same failure message, both if I tried it directly over the download manager like in the first place or -according to your instructions on the www.ubuntu.com- from the "alternate"-CD i downloaded. Since I downloaded the Version from your page, I consider it being original software, and both the versions are "released"
Best regards
W.Winkler

Seems like libglib2-ruby1.8 is causing the problem. What is the output of:
apt-cache policy libglib2-ruby1.8 wiki.ubuntu. com/BugSquad
