zoom limited with some documents - older versions worked

Those can only zoomed to 125% or below 100% - no other options possible.
This problem i have also with Oneiric on my second machine.

With my first machine with Maverick on it zoom is working normal (till 400%).

It is still in the actual Ubuntu LTS and relly annoying!
