Bug Description

I was installing Ubuntu 11.10 and the / (including the boot)was an LVM partition.
I chose the LVM partition itself as the place to install boot loader as I don't want to override my existing bootloader.
I got an error that the boot loader cannot be installed at the place I have mentioned.

I was given three options:
1) Change the bootloader location.
2) Don't install it.
3) Exit.

I was able to select any one of the radio buttons but the NEXT button didn't work and I could only see the wait cursor (the rotating circle).
I waited for around 20 minutes and then clicked on the close button.

I failed to notice that after killing the installer. I got a window stating that the install has been successfull.

I tried the installation again and this time I chose /dev/sdb13 as the location of boot loader.
The bootloader installation failed again but I was able to install Ubuntu.

I logged into my primary Ubuntu Installation and updated grub.

I can now use the new installation.
