Bug Description
Hi,
I bumped wicd in Gentoo to 1.7.1b3 (well, r669 actually). Users started to upgrade and they report that network settings read from the old config are parsed wrongly: See https:/
I can not reproduce this myself, but appearently when reading the old config a pair of square brackets is inserted around the password and ssid. Consequently the connection fails until the brackets are removed.

I can't reproduce this either, but I'm well aware of it. I will fix it before
1.7.1 final is released, even though currently I don't have any idea of what
causes it. But I will investigate further :)
