Java package: Java Runtime Environment Version 5.0 Update 11 from the official page

Video player: MPlayer Version: 2:0.99+1.0pre8-0ubuntu8

Firefox extensions: None
Firefox themes: Blue ice (1.2.4) and firefox default theme

Can you please disable flash and java and see if it still crashes.

you can do this by running firefox in terminal using safemode.

Is this still an issue for you? We are trying to trying sort out the older Mozilla issues and would like to know if this still happens.
