Window/tray bar appears in lock screen after running system for a while without shutdown

For some odd reason the system window bar/tray appears in the lock screen after the system has been locked a few times while running for quite some time without a shutdown. Not sure on the origin of this bug.

I never had this issue so far. And, it seems more of a gnome-screensaver issue than a Unity issue.

so, this bug did disappear after a while, but i did have it once before, so it must be getting triggered by something random. Any idea on logs i can grab if it does happen again?
