Installer keeps crashing (Linux Mint 11 LXDE)

I've tried installing Linux Mint 11 LXDE twice now and both times it crashed out. This is an older machine, but still well within the system requirements. I have 512MB of RAM installed and can't recall the exact size of the harddrive, but it's at least 200GBs.

Not sure if this will aid in the diagnosis, but during the install process I manually set my own partitions.

Gave it a 3rd attempt with the same results. More logs for your reference /var/log/partman

I did lots of google searches on the subject and found that it has to do with the install option to encrypt /home. I re-ran the install and skipped that step this time and it completed successfully.

From what I found in my searches this appears to be a rather old bug. I'm kind of surprised this has not been fixed since you'd think install failures would be a top priority because it may frustrate people to the point of giving up and ultimately lead them to use a different OS.
