Sabayon crashes when trying to edit profile

Mint version 12 (lisa) Gnome 64 bit

Installed Sabayon, created a profile, clicked Edit
Sabayon crashed
Problem happens always

While investigating the problem I discovered that "xnest" was not installed, and it is required by sabayon. I installed it, and sabayon started showing something before crashing at a later stage.

I then discovered this bug report https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=613730 and manually applied the change mentioned in comment 20. This allowed the screen to load momentarily before failing (but now sabayon did not crash).

At this pont I am still unable to run Sabayon properly.
