Hello,

The French manpage, inkscape.fr.1, has all the accentuated characters
replaced by some hard to read ASCII garbage. I guess this is due to
utf8-to-roff which does not seem to work properly.

This is a patch against the manpage itself, but perhaps that should be
fixed in the Makefile itself, by calling pod2man -u and removing the
pipe to utf8-to-roff.

Regards,

Thanks for your report.
The accent bug is already fixed in the trunk. But I have nothing against applying it on 0.48.x, so that it's fixed in 0.48.3.
