when i run openshot i am able to import a file one time only.

After installation it works well. But there is a crash. Now it's impossible to import file more than one time. It's only possible with drag and drop. (excuse me i'am french)

Dont use the build wizard but better the PPA. (http://www.openshot.org/ppa/)

Could you run it in a console and put us the result here ?

A idea :
Try to remove the hidden Openshot folder.by
rm .openshot
It will be rebuild at the next start of Openshot.

Ok i have the exact same problem and i know why.

Recently, the open file dialog in gnome changed a bit, now, by defaut, when you want to add a file, the recently used category is showed in the open filedialog.

It's an issue because we want to retrieve the last used directory when we open a file, and if we pick the file from the recently used files, then the last used directory is not set, producing an error the next time you wan't to add a file.

I have attached the branch that fixes this issue by stringifying None before storing it. None is returned by get_current_folder for virtual "Recent Files List".
