Bug Description
First, when i click the button "Try Ubuntu", then I saw a blank screen with just the cursor of my mouse.
Then, I rebooted and clicked F6 and disabled "Nomodeset". This time, I could get into the desktop.
Everything is fine except on the upper-left corner, the word "Desktop" is missing from the upper panel.
I launch Firefox, then I can see "Firefox" appearing on upper-left corner, and I can see "Home" "Ubuntu software center" are fine as well.
The problem appears both on Ubuntu 11.10 and 12.04
My laptop is Dell M5030 with cpu Amd P320 and graphic card Amd/Ati mhd 4250.
Just in case of my expression may be not clear enough, I screenshot a snap attached below.
