Bug Description

Running Maverick-Linux-in-Live-mode.
Opened mozilla-firefox 3.6 and launched About to verify any upgrades available.
Also, opened multiple tabs while reading Mozilla.org documentation.
Downloaded '.tar.gz' archive of browser v8.0.1.
Comparing the '.ini' and '.xml' files to see whats new in the upgraded version, using gedit.
While just trying to paste the upgraded-version-of-browser to replace the one installed by OS by default in Live-Mode.
Also, a window is kept open for accessing a shared-folder on intranet.

Thanks,
K Chandrasekhar Omkar.

Apport retracing service (apport) wrote : No launchpad retracing

Unsetting the need retracing tag, there is no retracer left running on that version of Ubuntu, the crash will need to be manually retraced

We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to review all reported bugs in a timely manner. You reported this bug some time ago and there have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time.

Ubuntu 10.10 (maverick) reached end-of-life on April 10, 2012.

Do you still see a problem related to the one that you reported in a currently supported version of Ubuntu?

Please let us know if you do otherwise this bug report can be left to expire in approximately 60 days time.

Thank you for helping make Ubuntu better.
