keyboard layout wrong choosing a different language for live session

Bug Description
ISO Testing Precise Alpha1 Ubuntui386 LiveSession
Step to reproduce:
- boot with live cd
- choose ITALIAN instead of ENGLISH
- choose Try Ubuntu
- Desktop loads but the keyboard it is the english layout
expected to be the italian layout.

I tried recreating this by booting a Precise desktop CD dated 20111129.1 and choosing Italian at the "Try Ubuntu" menu. I then went to settings and choose keyboard layout and my layout is infact Italian. Is there something I'm doing wrong in trying to verify this?
