Bug Description

Attempted to compile ATI proprietary drivers on Fiesty Fawn with all updates using this HowTo from the forums:

http://www.ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=321766&highlight=ati+200m

When using kernel 2.6.17-10 or 2.6.17-11 this process works on my Compaq Presario R4125US and gives me good 3D acceleration in Edgy. Unfortunately this process halts at:

sudo module-assistant build fglrx

when attempting to do same in Fiesty Fawn. I can NOT compile the ATI proprietary drivers for 3D acceleration nor do the repository drivers work. Playing any 3D game from Fiesty at this time with this laptop is impossible.
