Mailing List / IRC channel

I'd like to have a place to do some meta-discussion about the Simple Scan development, like a mailing list and/or an IRC channel.

Depending on whether Robert sees Simple Scan as a "Launchpad project" or a "GNOME project", I would create the new infrastructure (mailing list, irc) where Simple Scan "is at home".

Personally I am more famliar with Launchpad, but I will get along with GNOME.

Once created it should be put on the Simple Scan homepage (https://launchpad.net/simple-scan) -- at some point one might want a "real" homepage, but I do not think that is a priority right now...

I created an IRC channel on irc.ubuntu.com / freenode.
The channel is named #simple-scan.

I created a public open group, simple-scan-users and the team's mailing list can be used as a public mailing list.
