Bug Description

I have an HP touchpad and it has Kindle Beta software. I can download a book using Calibre to the device and I see it on the device until I detach the toucpad and the book is nowhere to be found in the library. I know several people who have an actual Kindle device and can download books without issue and I'm assuming the issue is the "Beta" version of software on my touchpad. I have a huge library of books on my laptop and got the touchpad to have mobile access to my library but cannot use it. I can download from Amazon without issue but cannot access any of my books on my laptop.

Hi,

It affects Windows 7 version of calibre, so switching to Project calibre instead of Ubuntu.

There is a helper program that you have to install on your touchpad in order to read mobi files on it. I cant remeber what it is, but a bit of googling on calibre hp touchpad should do the trick.
