I installed ubuntu 12.04 alpha 1 and then did all updates - although the process was labelled as a partial upgrade. all updates installed.

Not long following this I routinely started update manager, and it gave this problem. As things stand, I cannot update the rolling alpha 1 via the update manager.

I hav enow used terminal to
sudo apt-get update
and then sudo apt-get upgrade.

This found 5 updates which were installed ok.
I immediately then tried update manager and it then worked normally with no problem.
