Bug Description

I have not used this laptop for a few months. The sound was not working at all the last time I used it. I turned it on today, and the sound was working fine for the first 20 minutes of using the computer. It stopped working all together. I troubleshot a couple of things such as making sure the sound was not muted. I then googled the problem and here I am. Any help would be appreciated as I would really like to use my laptop for watching tv shows, listening to music, and watching crazy things on Youtube.

This version has expired some times ago, and no backport is expected as there is no 'security' reported problem

Changed in alsa-driver (Ubuntu):
