poppler pdfimages doesn't work

The pdfimages tool fails to extract images from any pdf file.
Using the Xpdf 3.02 linux binary works fine.

The same here (Ubuntu Dapper 6.06 LTS). pdfimages doesn't work at all.

(On Debian where pdfimages belongs to pkg xpdf-utils it works fine.

Just realized that there's a pkg "xpdf-utils" in Ubuntu, too, where pdfimages works.

I can confirm this bug is still there on Ubuntu 7.04.
