Bug Description
After restart of Mixxx the microphone volume is at maximum.
First I thought it does not react on the mouse wheel. But it does, the value was simply out of scale of the widget.
Playing around and Controlling the knob via mouse click and move, suddenly the mouse pointer was not displayed again after releasing the mouse button.
If I move the mouse out of the Mixxx window area it comes back but disappears again when entering the Mixxx window.
This happen with current lp:mixxx and Ubuntu Oneiric 32bit.

Fixed in lp:mixxx/1.10 r2948. Marking crit as pointer disappearing would definitely screw a live performance. Possible repro steps:
Left mouse down on knob
Mid mouse down on knob
Mid mouse up on knob
Left mouse up on knob
OR
Mid mouse down on knob
Mid mouse up
Cursor will still be hidden because the conditions under which we hid versus restored the cursor were different.
