Bug Description

Binary package hint: tomboy

Tomboy GNOME Panel Applet fails to load, giving an OAFIID error.

Version details: Ubuntu Feisty, Dist-Upgraded March 4th, 2007, Tomboy 0.5.9

To reproduce:

* Start tomboy via Applications > Accessories
* Try to add the panel applet via rightclick on panel > Add to Panel
* Issue persists through killall gnome-panel (OAFIID error box reappears on panel load.)
* Killing tomboy (either via notification area or killing process) allows the applet to be re-added to the panel

Using 9.04 I get this OAFIID error with Tomboy at most boots. The work around for me has been to leave one note open at shutdown then Tomboy loads normally.

Confirmed in 10.4

Tomboy crashes also when spell-check gets deactivated in the tomboy menu from the panel.

meral, please file the spell-check crash as a different bug, as it's completely unrelated to this one.
