Bug Description
I just installed Warty Warthog on my amd64 machine (MSI K8T Neo motherboard,
Athlon64 3000+) and the installer did not correctly detect the resolution of my
monitor.
I have a Radeon 9600 graphics card (lspci calls it: ATI Technologies Inc RV350
AP [Radeon 9600]) attached via the SGI Multilink (a DVI to LVDS converter) to
my SGI 1600SW flat panel monitor. The monitor's native resolution is 1600x1024
but that was not an option that was offered to me during the install.
I took a peek around and while ddcprobe gave me:
VESA BIOS Extensions not detected.
"/usr/share/
1600x1024
