precise: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.UnknownMethod: Method "current_status" with signature "" on interface "com.ubuntuone.SyncDaemon.Status" doesn't exist

In precise, file sync seems currently broken. My files aren't being downloaded from the cloud, and when I open the control panel, I see this error in the upper right:

File Sync error. (org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.UnknownMethod: Method "current_status" with signature "" on interface "com.ubuntuone.SyncDaemon.Status" doesn't exist)

Opening d-feet, I see that com.ubuntuone.SyncDaemon exposes no object paths over DBus. Seems wrong.

Can you please attach the logs in ~/.cache/ubuntuone/log/syncdaemon-exceptions.log*
I'm interested in those logs to see if there is some exception that can give an inkling on why the interface is not being registered.

I think this is the same issue described at Bug #825366, take look at comment 11 [1] for a workaround

Yup, it's that issue. The workaround worked for me.
