Fluidity error in medp1dgp2

The medp1dgp2 long tests fails with dev-trunk.3858 giving:

Following discussion in the dev meeting, reassigning this to Cian to have a look at. Comments along the lines that there needs to be a 'should be allowed to cheat' call introduced here; apply to David or Stephan for more information if required...

Sorry about this. I had intentionally left some pieces of code that I didn't understand with the intention of fixing them if they broke tests. I guess this one did.
