Seen on new daily install of 12.04 today

Installing 'libgnome2-0' package installs 'gnome-open' command which fixes this issue.

This fails whenever $BROWSER can't be opened (e.g. when you set up the system-wide BROWSER to chromium-browser then uninstall chromium). This is not a good thing.
