Bug Description

Binary package hint: svgalib

Availability: Currently in universe
Rationale: qemu-kvm wants to use spice which depends on svgalib
Security: No recent (last 5 years) CVEs.
Quality Assurance: Package works out of the box with no prompting. There is no major bugs in Ubuntu and the is no major bugs in Debian.
Standards Compliance: FHS and Debian Policy compliant.
Maintenance: Simple, stable package which is in sync with Debian.
Dependencies: All are in main

Notes:
svgalib-bin comes with some setuid-root binaries:
 svgalib-bin: setuid-binary usr/bin/dumpreg 4755 root/root
 svgalib-bin: setuid-binary usr/bin/restorefont 4755 root/root
 svgalib-bin: setuid-binary usr/bin/restorepalette 4755 root/root
 svgalib-bin: setuid-binary usr/bin/restoretextmode 4755 root/root

IIRC, we did patch packages to keep svgalib out of main. together with the allegro lisp MIR, I would prefer the qemu-kvm(-split).
