Bug Description

All the icons for the launcher have started appearing bunched up in the top left of the screen, as shown in the screenshot.

The mouse behaves as though the icons were in the correct place, i.e. if you click where Chrome ought to be, Chrome launches. It's just affecting where the graphics are rendered.

I've tried 'unity --reset'.

I've just restarted after some updates and the launcher is working properly now, so you can close this as "one of those things" if you like.

I had the same experience; unity --reset also did not fix things. Logging out and back in didn't either. I suspect perhaps a recent update broke something, since a restart fixed things. Perhaps the next person to experience this can try restarting gnome or X.
