The company logo can not be configured from openerp

OpenERP should allow for setting the company logo (in the top-left of the client) to the user company's logo.

I have checked your issue with 6.0.2 and 6.0.3 version but it all show me home page.
would you please elaborate more on this issue with related screenshot or video so we can easily reproduce

Hello Vishal,

I have given very simple description.
I am testing with trunk branch.

I am talking about the logo of OpenERP which is there on top-left corner (OpenERP logo).
When we click on it, as you said, only home page is getting displayed.
But It should allow to change the logo.

If I want to keep my logo instead of OpenERP then what should I do ?

Currently, you have to either replace the existing image or edit the CSS file to point it to your company's logo. Currently, there is no way to edit the logo from OpenERP's own interface.

I have implemented some of the code for this feature if you can merge it then I am ready to provide.

It will work like,
when we click on Existing Logo, instead of loading Home page, it will ask you to select new logo.
and after selecting new one, it will replace existing one.

I think Xavier is working for web client, I have seen many commits.
So he has more idea about this feature.

Sorry for Inconveniences, I was only tried to assign bug to web team but might be some problem of my system ,
the mouse was stuck. So May be this kind of problem the issue was created.

Nope, I'm sorry. You can create a merge proposal for this feature but I will have to reject it, the top-left logo is a well-known web (and "desktop" web applications) convention for going back to the system root. Using this high-value target for an operation as rare as changing the company logo is not an option as far as I'm concerned.

There have been no discussions with our UX team on how to handle this feature, but it will more likely be either dedicated configuration or pulled from the "main company" for the database (the latter would be an issue for the login page though, since there is no database yet)
