Bug Description
I installed Midori for the first time today on my Toshiba NB200 Notebook which is running Fedora 16.
I use the XFCE Desktop and have used Firefox for a long time so I know that Java is installed correctly.
In Midori I went to the "Verify Java Version" web page which has a URL of http://
and the page displayed the following message
"Mac Users:Use the Software Update feature (available on the Apple menu) to check that you have the most up-to-date
version of Java for your Mac."
This was somewhat of a surprise since I am running linux!
I checked the same URL in Firefox and received the following message
"Congratula
You have the recommended Java installed (1.7.0)."
What would cause Midori to think I am on a Mac?
