Why is this marked as incomplete? Confirmation and log files have been provided. No additional information has been asked for.

This is marked incomplete because the upstream folks marked the upstream report as such, and the bug tracker automatically carries changes that occur upstream over. They asked for haze's logs, if you'd like to comment upstream and attach those logs. You can get them from the help>debug menu. Otherwise, we can just wait for the person who forwarded the bug upstream to attach those logs.

some body else also attach the haze's log there on upstream.

@Muhammad: That is a completely different issue and a "user error" that has somehow been attached to this bug and is not relevant.

As you can see from my logs I am using the username only and not an email address. Please set back to confirmed.

Roger,
If it isn't too much trouble, could you comment upstream and attach your haze log files? Hopefully your logs will be of more help in determining the problem.

I'll mark this as confirmed again on the Ubuntu side of things, as it appears to be a valid issue that is not due to user error.

This worked for my YM account. Empathy had it configured to use port 5050. I changed it to 23.

It could have been a work firewall issue. Apparently, valid choices include 20, 23, 25, 80, 119, 5050, 8001, and 8002. Incidentally, I saw exactly the same behavior in Pidgin.

Just to be clear the problem I reported is not "invalid" nor has it been fixed. I'm using my Yahoo account name not email address as is shown in the logs. Whoever was using an email address hijacked this issue.
