Bug Description

It seems that the the auto-upload feature only checks the internal storage for photos, and ignores the DCIM (or dcim) folder on the SD card. I had my phone set to store pictures on the SD card and I couldn't figure out why it wouldn't find the pictures (running 1.0.4 and tried with both DCIM and dcim). Once I set the camera to store pictures in the internal storage it uploaded the new picture right away.

Hi Joseph,

Ubuntu One Files is looking at the external storage directory, which, I assume, in your case is a non-removable storage, whilst your vendor has decided to provide a custom (officially unsupported) /mnt/sdcard/external_sd mount point. Is that right? We are aware U1F does not look at that location yet.

It is a removable SD card with the mount point /mnt/sdcard-ext

It also has an alias at /sdcard-ext

Oh, that's yet another mount point from some vendor ;) Thanks for the update, good to know the details. I'm marking this as wishlist!

It's a Droid X2 from Verizon if that helps your list any.
