wifi thetering not working. laptop trying to connect to itself when wifi hotsopt is enabled

Bug Description

wifi tethering doesn't work in hp mini 110. computer is trying to connect to it's own hot-spot on enabling the wifi hot-spot.
the hot-spot is not even getting detected by other devices.

@Murali: Can you reproduce this problem in Ubuntu 12.04? If so, please reproduce it and run "apport-collect 891549" to provide more information.

hi thomas!!!! thankyou for taking time. the bug doesn,t exist in ubuntu
12.04. Wifi theethering is working just fine. please closr the bug for me.
