Bug Description
at the moment, pressing F11 in most applications in Ubuntu sends the application main window into fullscreen mode.
Fullscreen mode is important, especially when one wants to do dedicated work that requires using the screen edges and corners WITHIN an application. When an application main window is maximized, touching the left edge of the screen would still bring up the launcher, which would cover often crucial UI elements of the respective suite, e.g. Libreoffice, Gimp, Inkscape.
Pressing F11 to take the application main window into fullscreen mode remedies this problem.
Unfortunately, inconsistently with nearly all other apps, LibreOffice binds a different operation to F11, while fullscreen is available via CTRL+SHIFT+J.
F11 should consistently activate fullscreen in all fullscreen-capable apps in Ubuntu/Unity.
