Reproduce the bug:
select one window on one workspace (let's say on workspace 2)
use the workspace switcher to view all workspace
click right button on workspace (let's say 6)
now I should have the focus on the fullscreen window on workspace 6 but it's not the focus is still on the window on workspace 2.

could you please make a video cast to show the problem you reporting, such bug reports become really easy to understand visually since there is a change the problem may not happen on my system.

Also reporting any ubuntu bug using the command 'ubuntu-bug unity' make the bug report much more helpful.

To understand better.
I type something on irc. then switch to chromium window. while I am on chromium window I type text, in fact normally I would open a tab or close but to show you the focus issue I typed text that will be seen in the chat window in the end of the video

how do you validate the workspace switch? it doesn't happen if I use enter or double left click there but I can confirm when using right click to zoom in the target workspace

Looks like Sam is working on this (or a very similar bug) right now in bug 896762. But I can't reproduce that bug using his instructions. I can however reproduce this bug. So maybe not a duplicate.
