Bug Description
It'd be nice if transmission-gtk could function as an interface to transmission-daemon running on another machine. It provides a convenient compact monitor that the web interface doesn't (at very least it has the borders from the web browser).

HyperHacker, this is a very long-term goal for Transmission, but will require a lot of rewriting and is not a high priority.
In the meantime you might want to look at transmission-qt, which supports this feature and is visually similar to Transmission, or transmission- remote- gtk <http:// code.google. com/p/transmiss ion-remote- gtk/>, a third-party application which supports this feature and is visually similar to uTorrent.
