Bug Description
It seems ubuntu is using a debug build of libportmidi0, when a host error occurs, an error is printed to the console, the program waits for a keystroke and then exists. This crashes a program using PortMidi while it plays and e.g. the softsynth it plays to is stopped, or the MIDI device disconnected.
Expected would be that the error could be handled in the program instead of it exiting.
Description: Ubuntu 10.04.3 LTS
Release: 10.04
