Bug Description

For events from a web-served ICAL file, the dates show up correctly in Evolution and in the indicator event list. Alarms also go off at the correct time. But the indicator event list only shows events that are at least 5 hours in the future. I am in EST timezone (-5h), so perhaps the code to filter out events in the past does not taking the timezone into account?

This only happens for events from my ICAL file. normal Evolution events show up as expected.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to look at all reported bugs in a timely manner. There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if you could test it on a currently supported Ubuntu version. When you test it and it is still an issue, kindly upload the updated logs by running apport-collect <bug #> and any other logs that are relevant for this particular issue.

If this is still an issue in a currently supported version of Ubuntu, could you please also attach a sample ical file that produces the timezone error? That would help for testing and, in future, regression testing.
