Thunderbird conflicts with "hunspell-XX" language(s) and "language-support-writing-XX"

I've been adding non-EN language support and I realized that Thunderbird is missing, probably auto-uninstalled.
Now Ubuntu Software Center indicates that the two packages must be removed prior to re-installing Thunderbird as they are in conflict.
