Bug Description

I have noticed that in Ubuntu 11.04 and 11.10 with DockBarX running, when I maximize a Google Chrome window (without the standard system titlebars activated) the window controls disappear. This happens with DockBarX 0.48 and 0.47 but not with 0.46 or earlier versions. It also only happens when the Unity plugins in DockBarX are enabled. I have attached a picture with 2 screenshots of Google Chrome: one with the Unity plugins enabled and the other with the plugins disabled.

This is a known bug, one that can't be solved from within DockbarX. Libunity checks for com.canonical.Unity dbus bus name and won't send out any signals unless that busname exists so unity badges, progress bars and dynamic quicklists won't work without it and chrome uses the same bus name as a check if Unity is running and removes the buttons if that name exists.

Here is a bug report about making a unique bus name for docks using libunity:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/libunity/+bug/811826

I guess there's nothing to do but wait for the libunity devs to fix that one?
