Bug Description

In Ubuntu the wifi network doesn't show up. On Windows 7 on the same laptop it shows up. In Android on my phone it shows up. Range isn't the issue, as the router is only about 2m away. Laptop (Dell Inspiron m301z) hasn't had any wifi problems previously.

After shutting down several times (in the normal course of use) the network shows up, and the computer connected fine.

I haven't been able to test that particular wifi network again. But I've had no problems with similar routers and the laptop has worked fine with wifi ever since.

I'm happy for this bug report to be closed.
