Bug Description

after upgrading from 11.04 to 11.10, i cannot connect to my mobile broadband provider any more.

the modem is detected correctly:

during boot:

not sure if it is a problem with the network-manager or some other component, but as i mentioned before, it used to work in
11.04.

I am having the exact same problem in 11.10 64bit. Only difference is I'm tethering 3G through Nokia phone on ttyACM0.
